Who we are
We are a small little family farm, just east of Tampa. Travis and his wife Jamie started it up with 20% vision and 80% determination. The vision has grown stronger and the determination didn't back off. Now Travis and farm manager Shelby handle the bulk of farming, with Jamie, son Hank, Shelby's husband Dylan and other farm friends helping with processing, chores, bookkeeping, sales, marketing and everything else a farm needs to do.

What we do
TrailBale Farm tries to have a closed-loop farming system. All animals are on pasture, and they're all moved continuously. Multiple species (chickens, pigs, sheep, turkeys) impact the land in different ways, improving the soil and breaking disease cycles. We feed organic for the health of the animal, the eater and the lands where the feed is grown.

Why we do it
We farm for the environment, for food independence, for healthy local food, for animal welfare, for worker welfare and for community connections. We don't farm to get rich. We don't farm for awards or attention. We farm because we love it.
