Joe Dalessio and Kristin Beauvois are the duo behind Waldenponics at Black Finger Farm in Lutz, Florida. Black Finger Farm is a community focused farm providing local, organic produce and wild-harvested goods to the greater Tampa Bay area.

We grow approximately 35 different vegetables and fruits on our 1 acre of cultivated land. To build and maintain our fertile soil we use compost, organic fertilizers, and cover cropping. We pride ourselves in growing the cleanest food possible using hoes, hands and flames to manage our weeds - a philosophy that gave way to our name, Black Finger Farm - dirty, black fingers after a long days work!

Our vision is to create a mosaic of urban farms that are associated with local businesses & restaurants throughout the city. We support the utilization of unoccupied urban space to provide the denizens of our local community with food conscience options.
